As you so often declare that Slough's environment is your number one priority, could you tell me why the Council is still waiting to recruit an Agenda 21 officer?
The Agenda 21 Officer post was frozen until April 2007 as part of the corporate salary savings. The job description and person specification has been reviewed and it is intended to commence recruitment to the post in September 2007 (after the summer holiday period). It is hoped therefore to have someone in post by the end of the year.
