At the last Cabinet meeting, you replied to questions about closing the Council's ever-widening budget gap with the comment "wait and see".

We have waited, and seen that the government has given the Council a generous, above-inflation increase in RSG. In light of the extra £5.5m coming to this Council, could you now tell the Council exactly how you intend to close the budget gap and try to control spiralling spending to set a reasonable Council Tax next year?
