What is the councils policy about neighbourhood wardens snooping around peoples homes and inventing reasons to enter different rooms in the property without authorisation?

Reply: Councillor Lydia Simmons

It is the procedure for Officers to seek consent of the resident before entering a home and/or when undertaking an inspection of the premises. This common consent may be dispensed with, in cases of emergencies and/or when there are serious health and safety issues
