The Chairman will formally open
the hearing by introducing those present in the room and their
status in terms of the proceedings. |

Officer, the Appellant, and any others persons not authorised
to stay, to leave the meeting so that the councillors can deliberate

of the Sub-Committee, the Committee Administrator and the Legal
Advisor. |

The decision of the Sub-Committee
will be communicated to the Appellant by letter sent within 2
working days of the Meeting. |

The Chairman can at any time
take advice or ask for information from the Committee Administrator
or the Legal Adviser.
The Appellant can be represented
by a councillor, a lawyer or any other person whom she/he chooses.
If appropriate, the Chairman might vary the procedure with the
agreement of both parties.
If appropriate, the Chairman
might place time limits.
