This is the story of how lazy, incompetent and useless Slough Borough Council refused to do its statutory duty as a local authority and as the local waste authority.
It was shocking but routine uncaring indifferent neglect by senior staff who lived miles away from the Borough of Slough.
Only when local resident Paul Janik served a pre-action Letter* threatening to obtain an Order from the High Court compelling Sough Borough Council to take action (a Writ of Mandamus), did sleepy and reluctant Slough Borough Council slowly began to take notice.
