July 2007: Clyde & Forth, owners of the Slough Observer, brought the Slough Express.   The editor of the Observer exercised total editorial control over the Express.   Express reporters shared the Observer reporters office.

Friday 9 May 2008, Maidenhead Advertiser officially took control of the Slough Express. Price paid is believed to be circa £300,000.

November 2010 the Express closed it's second premises in Slough's Ipswich Road and moved to the Advertiser's offices in Maidenhead.
