Comment: Residents bitterly complained that for 2 years Slough Borough Council refused to tackle the rat-attracting public health problem. It was only when Paul Janik, on 18 April 2005, served a High Court protocol Letter before Action on Slough Borough Council that Denise Alder decided to tackle the problem (references: Janik1141 & Janik1265). All the rubbish was removed on circa 16 May 2005.
